Similar situation. I was introduced to the site in 2001 by my brother but I didn't make an account until 2009 when I wanted to collect medals from the Street Fighter Collab. Then I focused on other things for a few years, forgot the passwords to both the previous account and the email connected to it, and made this account.

I actually don't receive any emails, but it's easy for me to keep track of friends and artists on the "your feed" since I'm rather picky. I've had this account for over a decade and you're only the 34th person on my Favorite People list. Still, now you got me wondering if I clicked something to omit emails entirely and didn't realize it. I am prone to doing dumb little things like that without realizing it. I guess I'll deal with that if it ever becomes an issue. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
I apologize. I have a bad (good?) habit of typing a lot to say very little. I am a... *looks up a term for it* Ah! Google declared I am a "windbag." Ha! If it every bothers you when I comment on your work, just tell me to keep it brief. Otherwise, I type the same way I talk... obnoxiously and with a lot of unnecessary pauses.

I didn't use this site until 2003-2004? I didn't do much but watch flash movies and maybe played some games. I think I made some accounts, but it's been so long that I don't really remember them. Probably for the best, as I probably caused trouble. :P I started using this site for art stuff nowadays, since a lot of the bigger art (well, more or less in general) sites are turning on its side, which is sad. I like how Newgrounds handles various art stuff.
I like the e-mail system, because if there is one thing I miss from DeviantART is the inbox that you can see other artist uploads. It was wonderful, and I think Newgrounds and Sheezy are the only ones that do this. Bluesky and Cara don't, which is a shame. Glad I could remind you of such.
I don't mind the long messages, but I may or may not reply back in the same length. Hope that doesn't bother you. Thank you for the warm welcome though!
